40 weeks and 1 day pregnant, will I ever go into labor? nothing is happening.?

I know sometimes people are a week or two weeks late but three days ago I got checked and I haven't even started to dialate.. The baby is in the downward position but his head is still pretty high up and hasn't decended which makes me worried that he never will. Haven't lost my mucus plug, he still moves around a lot. The only thing that has changed for me is I have to go to the bathroom a lot more( number 1 and 2 ), sometimes get pelvic pressure, hip/leg pains, stuffy nose, feeling like I have to puke sometimes. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Will I suddenly just go into labor one of these days without warning?
